You might not have a whole lot of time to work out but you want to look your best. It’s the story of all of our lives and we get it, sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day. But, there are exercises that you can do, in your own home, with as little as a few minutes a day to dedicate to them! As women, we tend to carry more weight on our stomachs and thighs. These are the ‘problem’ areas for most and are actually some of the easiest to tone. Our thighs are made up of some of the biggest muscles in the body and tend to react pretty quickly to exercises so by doing this particular exercise for just a few minutes a day, you will be surprised how quickly you can tone up! So you need to be on all fours for this, with your knees lined up under your hips, and your elbows lined up under your shoulders. You should interlace your hands together and lift your abs so as to engage your lower back.
Flex your foot and keeping your leg bent, slowly raise it until your knee is now vertically in line with your hip. Keeping your leg in this position start pulsing your leg by slightly raising returning it to the line of your hip. Remember you need to engage your glutes and hamstrings to life your leg. You should do about 15 reps and then hold at the top for about 10 seconds. Repeat this on your other leg and repeat the entire exercise again. If you can do it twice or three times every day you’ll find your legs feel stronger and look more toned very quickly! Do remember that you need to eat a healthy diet and include some cardio in your workouts to feel healthier over all but this is a great way to begin and it will increase your strength before you know it!
