It’s practically a religious experience watching the stunning Sergei Polunin move to Hozier’s “Take Me To Church.” Choreographed by Jade Hale-Christofi and directed by David LaChapelle, the “bad-boy of ballet”  is covered in tattoos and is an absolute powerhouse. He may not be wearing much, or even have sleeves for that matter, but he has plenty of moves up his metaphorical one that will keep you in awe the entire time. Polunin is 25-years-old and from the Ukraine. He was previously in the British Royal Ballet as the companies youngest ever principal dancer, but resigned in 2012. He now dances in Moscow with the Stanislavsky Music Theatre and dabbles around the industry, including this spectacular music video. The strength and emotion demonstrated through his movement will remove any doubt you’ve had that dancers are not athletes and will probably make you question if he is even human.
