As we say a final goodbye to one of the world’s greatest sporting figures, we must take a moment to look back at his amazing career and achievements. Born in 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky Ali became known for his incredible boxing style and infectious charisma and personality. He worked tirelessly to bring attention to the mistreatment and injustice of African Americans across the United States and he fought to improve their lives. At the age of just 74, Ali passed away from complications with a respiratory issue. He had battled with Parkinson’s Disease for 30 years and was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.
