Crittenton’s on court career was actually unremarkable, but his off-the-court actions did result in serious tragedy. Unfortunately, he was sentenced to 23 years in jail after he was found guilty to aggravated assault charges and voluntary manslaughter.

This sad incident happened as a result of a gang-related drive-by shooting whereby he murdered a 22-year-old woman. He did play for the Grizzles, Lakers and Wizards during his two-year career. In December 2009, Crittenton and his colleague, Gilbert Arenas were involved in a serious confrontation involving guns. On January 25, 2010, he pleaded guilty and was given a year of probation due to a misdemeanor gun possession charge arising from this incident.
