Caitlyn Jenner has made her first public debut June 1 on the cover of Vanity Fair. Ms. Jenner, 65, is formerly known as Bruce Jenner, the Olympian and reality TV star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

An article by Vanity Fair reveals that Jenner started transitioning in the 1980s, wearing a bra and pantyhose underneath her suit, but stopped for a time due to fear of public reaction. She then started again recently when her marriage to Kris Jenner ended. Caitlyn Jenner was “always lying” as Bruce Jenner, she told Vanity.

Now with her new Twitter account as Caitlyn, Ms. Jenner doesn’t have any secrets and is free.

“I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self,” she wrote on Twitter. “Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.”
